Focused Tennis, Inc. (hereafter “Focused Tennis”) endeavours to act at all times in compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.


Focused Tennis requires and retains basic personal data, typically only in the form of contact details, in respect of each of its Clients (e.g., name, address, date of birth, telephone numbers, email addresses, and emergency contact). This information is requested as part of the registration process. Such personal data is retained by Focused Tennis for administration purposes and may be retained for a period of up to five years.

Focused Tennis ( i.e. Focused Tennis Administrator, members of Focused Tennis Committee and Focused Tennis Coaches) may contact its Clients through any medium for which the Client (supplied a contact detail (e.g., by telephone, text, post or email). It is the Client’s responsibility to contact an authorized member of the Focused Tennis Staff advising of any changes to the information they have provided Focused Tennis.

Except where required by law to do so, Focused Tennis will never provide a Client’s personal data to any third party except to an event/competition organizer for the purposes of confirming the Client’s details, in order to arrange competitions or matches. A Client must advise Focused Tennis if they do not want their information to be available to other customers or staff.

Focused Tennis uses various third party systems (Email, Social Media, Payment Gateways and Tennis Court Booking Systems to help administer the company and to contact clients. Certain Personal data is stored on these systems, However we are relying on these third party systems to protect the data stored with them.


Focused Tennis maintains a website (, which contains a password protected Members Only section. Each Member is provided a username and password to access limited access user sections. Access to these systems is password protected and limited to Focused Tennis Staff and Focused Tennis Clients (and has further access limitations defined by user levels. )


When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.


If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. . All uploaded files are usually publicly accessible.


If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. Collection and use of personal information.

We do not collect any personal data about you on our site, apart from information which you volunteer or provide (for example by e-mailing us or by using our feedback facility, or scheduling appointments). Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to the general public.

Collection and use of technical information

Technical details in connection with visits to our site are logged by our internet service provider for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to identify website visitors.

Online Payments

We use the Square Payments System on our website to collect payments and fees and for product purchases.

All payments are processed using Secure Socket Layer Technology which ensures the security of the transaction.

We also use Paypal to accept competition entries and we are relying on the Data security provided by Paypal for the security of these transactions.


Focused Tennis is also an employer. All data held in respect of its staff is strictly restricted to authorised personnel only.


If any Member has a complaint in respect of the use of their personal data by Focused Tennis, they are advised to contact Focused Tennis Management in the first instance, or write to Focused Tennis, Inc.

Changes to our Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Statement from time to tie at our sole discretion. If we many any changes we will post these changes on the website.
